While the overall structure of a CCB (Continuous Brake Frame) is simple, its structural design varies depending on the space layout and interior style of different car models. Based on materials, it can be divided into metallic and non-metallic types; metallic CCBs can be further divided into steel and non-steel types.

Traditional CCB structures primarily use steel, employing steel tubular beams and stamped components welded together. This method is low-cost but has a high material density, hindering lightweight design. Non-steel metallic CCB structures commonly use materials such as aluminum alloys and magnesium-aluminum alloys, formed through extrusion and die casting. These structures have low density and are lightweight, but are more expensive. Non-metallic CCBs often combine polymer materials with metals to further improve performance and lightweighting.
