A spiral drill bit mainly consists of a drill tip, spiral blades (screws), and connecting flanges. Structurally, it can be divided into two main categories: straight spiral and tapered spiral.
Straight spiral structures, depending on the number of drill bits and spirals, can be further subdivided into various forms such as single-screw, double-screw, and double-screw. The pitch (helix angle) of the drill bit varies depending on the geological conditions and soil-throwing performance requirements. Spiral blades are mostly made of cast steel, while the drill tip and connecting flanges are typically made of wear-resistant, high-carbon steel using precision machining.
