The CCB structure serves to mount and secure components such as the instrument panel, and also acts as a front-end support, playing a crucial role in the vehicle's structural performance. Its design primarily considers the following aspects:

(1) Mounting Function: Supports the mounting and securing of the instrument panel and electrical components such as the air conditioner.

(2) Collision Protection: Supports knee impact protection, providing a collision buffer zone; provides support for PAB (Power Adaptor Brake) deployment.

(3) NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) Quality: Supports the steering column and steering wheel functions, meeting vibration and other design requirements.

(4) Manufacturing Cost: Meets lightweight design requirements, reducing manufacturing costs.

In terms of installation functionality, a certain level of support strength is required; in terms of impact, the CCB structure needs to have minimal deformation under impact; and in terms of NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness), high stiffness is required to reduce vibration transmission. Whether for installation functionality, impact, or NVH performance, the CCB requires high stiffness and strength to meet various design requirements. Therefore, the development and design of CCBs primarily focuses on improving the structural stiffness and strength.
